Riyadh Air Metropolitano seating plan & guide

Atlético Madrid have played at the Metropolitano since 2017, after leaving the historic Vicente Calderón. Following a 2024 sponsorship deal the ground was renamed the Riyadh Air Metropolitano, and with roughly 70,700 seats it is one of Spain's largest stadiums. Nearly all seats are covered by the cantilevered roof.

Best sections

Fondo Sur (South End)

Home of the loudest ultras and the best atmosphere; expect non-stop singing rather than a quiet view.

Tribuna Lateral (Main/West Stand)

Central side seats give the most balanced view of play and are shaded from afternoon sun.

Tribuna Preferente (Lower side)

Closest full-pitch viewpoint to the action without paying for premium hospitality.

Insider tips

  • Take Metro Line 7 to Estadio Metropolitano station, which exits right at the ground.
  • The stadium sits in Madrid's northeast near the airport, so allow extra travel time from the city centre.
