1. FC Heidenheim play at the Voith-Arena, the smallest stadium in the Bundesliga with a capacity of about 15,000, of which roughly 9,000 are standing. Built on the site of the old Albstadion, the modern arena took shape through renovations completed around 2010 and expansions through 2015. At about 555 metres altitude it is also the highest ground in German professional football.
