The Smoothie King Center is the downtown New Orleans home of the NBA's New Orleans Pelicans, sitting right next to the Caesars Superdome in the Central Business District. Opened in 1999 as the New Orleans Arena, it's nicknamed "The Blender" and hosted the 2008 and 2014 NBA All-Star Games.
