Brighton's American Express Stadium, known as the Amex (officially Falmer Stadium), opened in 2011 at Falmer on the edge of the South Downs. Originally built for around 22,500, it was expanded to its current capacity of around 31,900, with a sweeping curved roof designed to echo the surrounding hills.
